some say authentic, we say jew-y

despite having no pictures of the finished product -- i took part in making gefilte fish earlier in the week with jason's family. they turned out well, which has little to do with my efforts and everything to do with "grandpa leo" and his recipe legacy. somehow we failed to document some of the more critical steps, but this gives you an idea of the process.

saturday

excited to see matt's new work. should be a fun saturday with black dice later that night at market hotel -- record release show for repo.

we went to see adventureland, because there isn't much i enjoy more than a proper coming-of-age story. with a soundtrack including the replacements and husker du, and a main character with an emotional makeup and earnestness on par with what i imagine jason's formative years to be like, i highly recommend. additionally, i have an unusual fondness for western pennsylvania, and as of now, kristen stewart .
